kechi okwuchi make it to AGT semi-final

@Kechi: I didn't dare to dream of quarter finals, now I'm gonna be in AMERICA GOT TANENT AGT. semis...when God moves, He moves BIG! Thank u all for believing in me

Getting four yes-es in one of the toughest singing competitions is no easy thing. But one contestant just did that and stole the show with her rendition of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud.’
Plan crash survivor Kechi Okwuchi reduced audiences to tears but it was her story that set the emotional tone.
The 27 year old was one of two survivors of the Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 plane crash that took place in Nigeria killing 107 people.

After having undergone over 100 surgeries, she remains unfazed and turns to music for inspiration something she loved since she was a child in Nigeria.
‘’Lying in the hospital bed with bandages from head to foot. Not being able to more or do anything else, music was my escape. And that’s why it means so much to me.” Okwuchi told the AGT judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B.
After the terrible accident that happened when she was 16, Okwuchi graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in economics in 2015.
She remains one of the favorite contestants after her performance brought the audience to tears and received a standing ovation on Tuesday.
